Operating Room Nurse (Open Heart) in Springfield, Missouri. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a specialized cardiac surgical environment. The role requires working within a fast-paced, team-oriented setting to support cardiothoracic procedures, utilizing advanced skills and maintaining professional accountability throughout patient care activities.
Job Details- Schedule:
Days, 4x10 shifts, , with a minimum of 40 hours per week. - Required Qualifications:
Valid RN license (must meet state licensure criteria or be currently licensed in Missouri), BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA, 0 years of experience. - Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with open heart and thoracic procedures, ECMO, Impella insertion, robotics. - Float:
Float rotation may be required as determined by the facility. - Additional Information:
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and evaluates care effectiveness in a cardiothoracic surgical unit. Physical demands include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs., with minimal crouching, kneeling, or crawling required.
