Wound Care Nurse

Position Overview

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by team members. Coordinates patient care across departments, maintains patient rights, and upholds confidentiality in alignment with organizational standards and values.

• Education:
  
  Nursing degree (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure:
  Current RN license valid in the state or compact licensure.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS (required within 30 days), with additional certifications like ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, and others based on department needs.
• Experience and preferred credentials are advantageous but not mandatory.

• Deliver direct patient care and assess patient needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Perform duties consistent with organizational standards and mission.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged standing and walking.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
