Licensed Practical Nurse or Graduate LPN Surgical 3B

Mercy is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Graduate LPN to join our Surgical 3B unit. In this role, you'll deliver compassionate bedside care, administer medications, support post-operative recovery, and assist with surgical preparations under RN and physician direction. You'll monitor vital signs, document in the EMR, educate patients and families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care on Surgical 3
• BAdminister medications and treatments per provider orders
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient status
• Assist with pre- and post-operative care and recovery
• Perform wound care and support pain management
• Document care accurately in the EMREducate patients and families on post-surgical care plans
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the care team
• Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols
• Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement
