Licensed Practical Nurse or Graduate LPN Ortho 3C

Mercy is seeking a compassionate Primary Care Assistant LPN to support providers in our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you'll deliver direct patient care, obtain vitals, administer medications and injections, perform point-of-care testing, support chronic disease management, and coordinate follow-up care. You'll assist with patient education, electronic health record documentation, and clinic flow. Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient vitals and medical histories
• Administer prescribed medications, injections, and immunizations
• Assist providers with patient exams and minor procedures
• Perform point-of-care tests and collect lab specimens
• Maintain accurate and timely EHR documentation
• Provide patient education on treatments and chronic disease management
• Prepare and stock exam rooms, ensuring infection control standards
• Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, and patient outreach
• Support clinic flow and collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
