RN Operating Room

Position available in the main operating room. Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required for all travelers from November 1 to April
1. Role involves assisting with vascular surgery in the OR and hybrid imaging suite. Work collaboratively with a team of nurses and surgical techs for endo and open cases. Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.

Ensure maintenance of patient rights and confidentiality. Perform duties in accordance with established guidelines of nursing practice. Demonstrate skill in human relations and communication. Must have clinical expertise in the operating room setting. Physical demands include standing and walking most of the time, lifting and pushing patients. Work typically occurs in a clean, air-conditioned environment. The facility holds several recognitions for quality care and patient satisfaction.
