Licensed Practical Nurse

Mercy is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver hands-on patient care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The LPN will perform assessments, monitor vitals, administer medications and treatments, support procedures, and document care using EHR systems. Working closely with RNs, physicians, and allied health staff, you will educate patients and families, promote safety and infection control, and contribute to personalized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care under the supervision of RNs and physicians
• Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and patient responses in EHR systems
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and basic procedures
• Support development and implementation of individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and self-care
• Maintain strict infection control and patient safety standards
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Report changes in patient condition promptly to supervising clinicians
• Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives at Mercy.
