Join a compassionate healthcare team as a Registered Nurse in a high-acuity Intermediate Care Unit (4D Cardiac Surg Intermediate).
Responsibilities Include- Utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care and ensure patient rights and confidentiality.
- Evaluating care effectiveness provided by other caregivers and coordinating with multiple departments.
- Providing care for critically ill post-operative cardiothoracic and vascular patients, managing therapies such as chest tubes, lytic therapy, vasopressors, and oxygen systems.
- Mentoring team members and participating in learning opportunities, with pathways for career advancement into ICU units.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN license in the state or valid compact licensure.
- Basic Life Support certification; other certifications may be required.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks.
