Travel RN – Telemetry (Nights)

Springfield, Missouri

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (19:00–07:00) | 36 or 48 hours per week guaranteed | 13–26 week assignment

• Utilize the nursing process to perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care for all age groups
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary and interdisciplinary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and maintain professional accountability
• Demonstrate competence in drug titration and telemetry monitoring within the scope of nursing practice
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines
• Float to highest-need unit on a rotational basis as required by facility

• Current RN license; must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold Missouri licensure
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient telemetry experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• 4 trauma credits required; must be completed within the first two weeks of assignment if not already obtained
• NIHSS certification required prior to start date
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted

• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Inpatient trauma experience
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a determined, decisive, and flexible approach

• Join a high-acuity facility recognized as a Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center and a Level 2 Stroke Center, offering exposure to a diverse and complex patient population
• Work in a facility utilizing EPIC EMR within a region that offers a vibrant local culture, dining, and attractions
