Charge RN - Cardiac - Nights; Non-Exempt

Position Overview

The Charge Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care based on theoretical concepts and standards of practice.

• Utilize nursing knowledge to deliver comprehensive patient care in a cardiac unit.
• Monitor telemetry, care for pacemakers and post-angiography patients, and manage medication drips.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and standards, maintaining high-quality patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient treatment and discharge planning.

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and hold a current RN license in the state or via a compact licensure.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform tasks involving reaching, bending, and kneeling.
• Strong clinical skills in telemetry monitoring, post-procedure care, and medication administration.
