Schedule:
Saturday-Monday - 7:30PM-8:00AM (Overnights) As a Registered Nurse (Float) at Royal Oaks Hospital, you'll play a key role in providing safe, high-quality care to children and teens working toward emotional and behavioral stability. You'll be part of an interdisciplinary team that values collaboration, compassion, and clinical excellence-helping each patient move toward hope and healing. You'll use your clinical skills to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people and their families. This position is based at Royal Oaks Hospital, a subsidiary of Compass Health Network.
- Deliver trauma-informed, patient-centered nursing care for children and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric setting
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate individualized care
- Monitor, assess, and document patient progress, ensuring safety and quality standards are met
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
- Mentor and support new nursing team members to promote professional growth
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement and continuing education efforts
- Associate's degree in nursing required
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
Work Experience/Training/Additional Requirements At least one year of psychiatric experience preferred
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: RN or GN that must pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation required
