Role:
Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in accordance with nursing standards.
Responsibilities:Utilize theoretical concepts to guide clinical decisions, provide direct patient care, and ensure compliance with practice standards. Candidates must be willing to travel within a regional footprint and self-schedule shifts.
Key Duties:Cover ICU and Medical/Surgical units during night shifts, contribute to a flexible float pool, and work across multiple facilities within a 90-mile radius. Responsibilities include managing patient needs, documentation, and adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications:Graduate of an approved nursing program, current RN licensure, minimum of 3 years RN experience in the relevant service line within the past year, and BLS certification for Med Surg and Behavioral Health.
Physical Requirements:Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform physical activities such as gripping, reaching, bending, and kneeling during shifts.
Skills:Strong clinical knowledge, adaptability, ability to self-schedule, and travel readiness. Candidates should be comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced environment.
