Role Overview
The Clinical Supervisor ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, and cost-effective patient care by competent staff. They collaborate with administrative personnel, physicians, and co-workers to improve processes and optimize resource utilization to meet productivity and financial goals. Key responsibilities include staffing management, patient flow coordination, and bed management in partnership with the Staffing Office. They serve as leaders who inspire change, model professional standards, and foster a positive work environment through mentorship and recognition.
The role involves holding care providers accountable, participating in evaluations with the Clinical Manager, and ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory guidelines
. The supervisor actively promotes the organization’s mission, values, and standards in all duties. Qualifications include a graduate degree in Nursing, current RN licensure, 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience, and relevant certifications such as BLS, TNCC, ACLS, or PALS
. Preferred candidates possess a bachelor’s degree in Nursing and demonstrate strong communication, clinical competence, and data assessment skills.
