Position Overview

This role involves providing compassionate patient care at a short-term inpatient psychiatric facility for adults. The nurse utilizes the nursing process to deliver individualized care, evaluate treatment effectiveness, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. • Utilize nursing skills to care for patients in a psychiatric setting.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, medical providers, and nurses.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and rights.
• Support a team-oriented approach to mental health treatment.

• Graduate from a recognized School of Nursing.
• Hold a current RN license in the state or compact licensure.
• Obtain and maintain American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification or complete within probation.
• Possess relevant certifications as required by the role.
