RN GIG – Flex​/Per Diem​/PRN – Mercy Springfield and Communities

Seeking a flexible Registered Nurse role utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care across various departments such as Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Women’s Health. Responsibilities include evaluating care effectiveness, coordinating with other departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and ensuring professional accountability. The position offers options for day or night shifts, with no weekend or holiday requirements, and involves responsible scheduling, flexibility, and adaptability to short-notice shifts, which may be canceled.

Qualifications include recent bedside RN experience (minimum one year in Med Surg, two years in other specialties), current compact RN licensure, and relevant certifications like BLS, ACLS, and PALS depending on the department.
