Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care under supervision or alongside registered nurses in a fast-paced surgical trauma unit.
Responsibilities include:
- Utilizing the nursing process to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Coordinating care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality
- Performing head-to-toe assessments, telemetry reading, IV insertions, wound, catheter, trach, ostomy, and chest tube care
- Ensuring professional accountability for patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Valid LPN license with IV certification as per state requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire
- Experience preferred but not mandatory
