OACAC Head Start provides high-quality education, health, and family support services to children ages birth through five and their families, preparing them for success in school and life.

OACAC Head Start is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Head Start team. The Head Start Nurse provides health services to enrolled children, supports families in accessing health care, and helps ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards. This position works closely with families, Head Start staff, and community health providers to promote the health and well-being of children.

• Provide health services and support for enrolled Head Start children.
• Collaborate with families, staff, and community health providers to address children's health needs.
• Assist families with accessing appropriate health care and community resources.
• Support health-related program requirements and compliance with Head Start Performance Standards.
• Promote healthy development and positive health outcomes for children and families.

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in pediatric or community/public health nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood development, family dynamics, and health regulations.

• Experience working with children and families in a healthcare, community health, or early childhood setting.
• Experience working with diverse populations.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with children, families, staff, and community providers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and professional approach to working with children and families.

$23.90 - $35.00 - Hourly
