Quality Inspector - Customer Onsite Representative in Springfield

QA - Quality Inspector (FGE Position)

Position is located in East Liberty Honda and Topre Springfield, OH.

Includes mileage stipend and a daily food per diem.

Understand reaction plan on non-conformance; perform production process audits according to check sheets; verify and sign off on change point notices; explain sort/rework activities; understand quality documents, control plans, inspection standards, procedures, logs, and stamping parts, sub-assemblies, components; identify defective conditions. Reports and communicates issues daily to Topre plant.

• Previous quality experience and solid communication skills; ability to learn Topre America processes.
• Understanding of policies/procedures and ability to meet attendance and point requirements.

• Ability to read and interpret English documents such as training, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Read Scale, Taper Gauge, Calipers (digital and manual), Micrometers (digital and manual), Height Gauge, and other measurement devices.
• Commute daily to Honda East Liberty Plant; mileage and daily per diem will be paid.
• Assist in containment of suspect material or product.
• Verify quality of product produced in various zones within plant.
• Rework parts as needed.
• Complete tasks assigned by Honda and TOPRE.
• Document and communicate test results with QE and management.
• Provide daily feedback to QE or Quality Manager regarding findings or issues.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality.
• Arrive at meetings and appointments on time.
• Adjust to variable hours; work overtime or at TOPRE facility when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Report to supervisors with timely, accurate information.
• Follow safety procedures.
• Manage time and provide timely responses.
• Cooperate with team members and promote teamwork.

• Previous quality experience or related skills a plus.

• Travel may be required for training or customer concerns.
