Quality Inspector

Location: Springfield, MO
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 1st and 2nd Shift Opportunities Available

Creative Modular Construction (CMC) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to help ensure our modular units meet the highest standards of craftsmanship, safety, and quality. This role is critical to maintaining excellence throughout the construction process and supporting our mission of delivering exceptional products to our customers.

As a Quality Inspector, you will work closely with production teams to verify compliance with design specifications, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Position Summary

The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting modular units throughout various stages of production to ensure compliance with company standards, project specifications, and applicable quality requirements. This position plays a key role in identifying issues, documenting findings, and collaborating with team members to implement effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections at critical phases of production, including framing, MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing), and finish work.
  • Verify construction activities against blueprints, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Document inspection results and identify non-conformances or quality concerns.
  • Assist in corrective and preventive actions to improve quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues efficiently.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality enhancement efforts.
Qualifications
  • Experience in modular, manufacturing, or factory-based construction environments preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, quality standards, and inspection practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Physical ability to move throughout production areas and perform inspections as needed.
