Catering Attendant; Part Time

We are hiring immediately for part time Catering Attendant positions at Missouri State University, 901 South National Ave., Springfield, MO 65897.

Schedule:

Part time, open availability preferred. Hours and days may vary; flexible scheduling available with more details upon interview. Requirement:
Prior food service and/or catering experience is preferred, but not required. Willing to train. Perks include meals, proximity to campus, opportunities for growth, and training. Pay Range: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour.

• Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain.
• Sets up and serves at functions; cleans event area during and after events; breakdown and leave area neat and clean.
• Returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility in a timely manner.
• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures; arranges tables, decorations, and buffet setups per standards.
• Serves food and beverages to guests; maintains a friendly, courteous service style.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards; stocks and maintains catering facility and equipment.
• Maintains knowledge of the full menu and products on hand; keeps the work environment clean and safe.
• Follows safety and sanitation policies at all times; performs other duties as assigned.

• Valid driver’s license may be required; must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol servers’ permit where required by state law.
