Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Stocking, Retail Support
Position Summary
Provides member service and maintains the checkout area.
Resolves member issues and concerns, promotes Sam’s Club products and services, and provides guidance and support regarding self-service technology.
Processes member purchases, assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies for different membership and payment types.
Follows company safety standards, conducts safety sweeps, and handles merchandise safely, reporting unsafe situations to facility management.
Maintains entrance and exit areas, verifies membership cards, assists members with purchasing decisions, locates merchandise, arranges merchandise, and maintains a safe shopping environment.
Records paperwork and logs, executes emergency response procedures, and ensures compliance with company security and safety practices.
Assists in training Member Frontline Services associates on processes and procedures, teaches new technology and tool functionality, delivers new program roll-out training, and provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
Conducts area inspections, handles returns, identifies shrink and damages, and identifies improvement opportunities while collaborating with managers, co‑workers, and customers.
Fosters a culture of integrity, teamwork, and customer focus, demonstrating humility and honesty and making data-driven decisions that balance short- and long-term priorities.
Minimum QualificationsRetail experience operating front‑end equipment such as cash registers and working with mobile retail applications.
Strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team, and the capacity to follow company policies and safety procedures.

Hourly rate ranges from $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate equals or exceeds the applicable minimum wage.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
