Position: Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) Springfield, MO 65803

Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed.

Salary and Schedule Details
  • Your starting hourly pay rate will be $15.00-$17.00 per hour depending on your skills and experience.
  • Paid training includes live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.
  • Hallmark part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits including medical, dental, vision, and other coverage.
  • Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
  • This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours: 6-10 hours per week.
  • Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
  • Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day engagement: Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory. Communicate with supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers. Responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
  • Holiday support: Provide additional support leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May be required to work on the holiday itself, including weekends.
  • Department resets: Participate in installations and other tasks such as building and installing fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Notify two weeks in advance for remodel assignments; may include evenings or weekends.
  • Team collaboration: Work as part of Hallmark’s field organization and support other team members in their territories.
  • Physical Requirements

    This physically demanding role requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 30 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.

    Basic Qualifications
    • At least 18 years of age.
    • Able to read, write, and understand English.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
    • Able to operate a digital hand‑held device to read documents.
    • Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
    • Consistent transportation to travel to assigned stores.
