Position Title:

Retail Associate

Reports to:

Retail Supervisor(s), Assistant Retail Operations Manager, and Retail Operations Manager

• Fulfill guest’s needs quickly and efficiently.
• Inform retail leadership in a timely manner when item quantities are low or a special request occurs. Work with the warehouse team to pull & fill items as necessary.
• Relay relevant comments received from customers directly to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
• Uphold company policies and procedures.
• Perform the steps of SSA EXTRA Guest Service to ensure a memorable experience for every guest and client.
• Check and stock supplies in counter area, floor display, floor stands and cabinets neatly, accurately, and in a timely fashion.
• Clean tables, chairs, equipment as needed.
• Keep counter and floor in work or service area clean and free of debris.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer as assigned.
• Merchandise product to maximize sales.
• Increase sales through promotional items or suggestive selling.
• Support the unit in setting an example for Company & Client guidelines regarding Sustainability/Conservation efforts, displaying knowledge and providing teaching opportunities to staff as needed.
• Support SSA/Unit in driving community effort through hiring, engagement activities, and opportunities to give back.
• Perform other tasks as deemed necessary.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Thrive in a team environment while working independently and being flexible in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer proficiency, including POS systems and Excel.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and manage boxes weighing 10–35 lbs as part of the operation.
• Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.

• Promote an inclusive & supportive approach within the Brand team and continue networking at all units.
• Remove barriers and empower growth and opportunity for team members at all levels.
• Lead by example through Sustainability/Conservation efforts, sharing knowledge and providing teaching opportunities to staff.
• Engage with SSA/Unit in community efforts, including hiring, engagement activities and opportunities to give back.
