Business Development Manager

Location: Greater St. Louis, other roles available in TN, AR, MS

We are hiring a Territory Sales Representative to take ownership of a defined geographic territory and drive growth through new business development and expansion of existing customer relationships.

This role is ideal for a motivated B2B salesperson with 2+ years of territory sales experience who enjoys full‑cycle selling, is comfortable with cold calling, and wants a high‑upside opportunity in a stable, relationship‑driven industry.

You’ll sell a full portfolio of new and used equipment
, warehouse systems
, aftermarket service
, and rental solutions
, while building long‑term partnerships with customers in manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution.

• Own and manage a defined sales territory with responsibility for revenue growth
• Plan and execute daily sales activity including prospecting, site visits, and follow‑ups

• Prospect new accounts through cold calling, walk‑ins, referrals, and networking
• Identify customer needs and position equipment and service solutions
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline

• Manage and grow existing customer accounts
• Increase wallet share through additional equipment, service, systems, and rentals
• Develop long‑term relationships as a trusted advisor
• Sell new forklifts and material handling equipment
• Used equipment
• Warehouse and fleet systems (targeting ~20% gross profit)
• Aftermarket service contracts and parts
• Short‑and long‑term equipment rentals
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
• Conduct on‑site customer meetings and equipment demos
• Collaborate with internal service, operations, and leadership teams
• Maintain accurate CRM activity, forecasting, and territory reporting
