Insurance Sales Producer; or W Path

The James Oddo Agency, a Brightway Insurance franchise located in Springfield, Missouri, is seeking motivated insurance sales producers to join our team. This role offers opportunities for professional growth, including mentorship toward potential future agency ownership. As a producer, you'll focus on selling property and casualty insurance using Brightway's resources, such as access to multiple carriers, the my Brightway platform for quoting and CRM, shared leads, training, and compliance support.

We are looking for individuals with a competitive, goal-oriented mindset who are eager to build their own client base and thrive in a performance-driven environment.

• This is a commission-only role with no base salary. Earnings are based solely on commissions from sales and renewals.
• Two employment options available:
• 1099 Independent Contractor:
  Offers flexibility in scheduling and approach. Commission splits approximately 50-60% on new business and 30-40% on renewals (of agency-retained carrier commissions). Potential earnings: $50,000–$120,000 annually based on performance (not guaranteed; actual results vary).
• W-2 Employee:
  Provides more structure, including tax withholding and potential eligibility for benefits after a qualifying period. Commission splits approximately 40-50% on new business and 25-35% on renewals. Potential earnings: $40,000–$90,000 annually based on performance (not guaranteed; actual results vary).
• Additional incentives may include production bonuses and an optional recoverable advance during initial ramp-up (repaid from future commissions).

• Generate and close sales leads through networking, referrals, and provided resources.
• Build and maintain client relationships to support renewals and cross-selling.
• Utilize Brightway tools for quoting, compliance, and client management.

• Missouri Property & Casualty (P&C) license required (or ability to obtain; assistance available for qualified candidates).
• Sales experience preferred; strong communication and relationship-building skills essential.
• Self-motivated with a drive to achieve goals.
• Reliable transportation and basic technology (smartphone/computer) for client interactions.

• Mentorship from agency owner to support your professional development.
• Office location: 1522 S Glenstone Ave, Springfield, MO 65804.
• The agency retains ownership of the book of business; standard non-solicitation agreement applies.
