Our client, a growing group with established long‑term relationships in the chemicals industry, is seeking a skilled professional to lead commercial initiatives for their growing client base across the US. This individual will be joining a well‑respected team that is seeking to expand on their already existing market share as well as launch new products.
Responsibilities- Communicating regularly with customers and stakeholders regarding product specifics and applications
- Managing existing client relationships as well as engaging new customers to further build US business
- Understanding all production and demand planning necessities in order to ensure accurate sales forecasts
- Attending regional conferences and visiting existing and new customers
- Managing sales budgets for existing accounts as well as forecasting for new accounts
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry (or similar specialty)
- 4+ years of experience working within the chemicals industry
- Ability to travel as needed
- Experience working with highly engineered materials (resins and coatings preferred)
