Job Overview
Field-based Account Executive responsible for promoting the SHIELD colorectal cancer (CRC) blood test to healthcare providers in the primary care setting. This role drives early detection of cancer, helping save lives and reduce healthcare costs through effective sales and patient engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve sales targets by prospecting, building relationships, and executing national sales strategies.
- Target and engage healthcare providers, securing commitment to adopt the SHIELD test for CRC and other cancers.
- Use challenger selling techniques to understand provider needs and demonstrate product benefits.
- Educate and support providers with in-depth product knowledge and training for smooth integration of SHIELD into practice workflows.
- Collaborate with clinical, marketing, and product teams to align sales strategies and provide cohesive business plans.
- Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with regional and local laboratories for phlebotomy draw agreements.
- Plan and execute product launches, developing business plans in line with brand strategies.
- Monitor competitive landscape and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to inform sales tactics.
- Report key insights and opportunities to the Commercial Team to optimize product offerings and sales strategies.
- Provide high-touch customer service, resolving issues proactively and supporting providers throughout the sales process.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulations while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Minimum 4 years of customer-facing sales experience in the healthcare industry (diagnostics, medical device, or pharmaceutical sales) or 2 years of customer-facing sales experience with direct clinical experience as a registered nurse or physician assistant.
- Proven track record of success and achievement in sales.
- Experience with diagnostic products, especially blood-based testing or cancer screening products, sold directly to primary care providers.
- Familiarity with the primary care landscape in a designated territory.
- Strong selling skills, including overcoming objections and aligning client needs with product offerings.
- Experience planning and executing product launches in the healthcare or diagnostic space.
- Strong understanding of healthcare provider landscape and ability to quickly learn technical product knowledge.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, able to present complex information clearly.
- Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Veeva.
- Superior negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

- Annualized base salary range: $116,000 - $133,000.
