Territory Manager, MEP - St. Louis, MO (Field-Based)
We are looking for a Territory Manager for our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) accounts in the St. Louis area. The role involves managing travel within the territory, building relationships with key decision makers, and driving top‑line sales through strategic planning and field engagement.
Responsibilities- Manage and grow assigned MEP accounts, focusing on power tools, hand tools, accessories, and support for regional chains.
- Conduct in‑person account visits, distributor and end‑user training, and meet with key customers on a daily basis.
- Execute strategic plans using go‑to‑market strategies, product service programs, and targeted funding.
- Drive sales through opportunity identification, lead generation, and relationship building with end users.
- Monitor and achieve sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Use to document work plans, visit logs, and maintain accurate customer data.
- Analyze Power BI and Salesforce data to develop growth plans and improve financial performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams, distribution partners, and the SBD team to support sales initiatives.
- Manage territory budget, travel schedule, and marketing activities.
- 1–3 years of sales experience in product, commercial or industrial sales (or similar).
- Willingness to travel up to 50% overnight within the territory.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to work with Power BI and Salesforce data.
- Goal‑oriented, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding measurable performance goals.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR screening.
- Ability to pass all drug and criminal background checks.
- Strong understanding of marketing, distribution channels, and product knowledge.
- Competitive base salary with a total target cash compensation range of $67,200.00 – $, inclusive of base and variable pay.
