Role DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented sales professional to expand our market presence in the Missouri market. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities. Your ability to build strong customer relationships and exceed sales quotas will be essential to this role.
About the Position Core Responsibilities- Provide sales, marketing and category management support to assigned customers
- Present and sell our client products and programs based on client initiatives and new item introductions
- Become knowledgeable on client portfolios of products and services
- Support and conduct food shows and sales team presentations with customers
- Develop sales plans for customers and clients based on objectives set forth through partnership development
- Follow up and execute sales opportunities from start to finish through continuous communication and CRM
- Look for incremental opportunities within or outside of our portfolio
- Respond to customer requests as needed
- Prepare, submit and present activity reports to management, client base or customers as needed
- Maintain a robust CRM pipeline based on market opportunities
- Continuously follow up with CRM database activities
- Provide CRM reports as needed to management and clients
- Conduct regular calls with your direct report, regional and national sales team, clients and customers
- Share information and gain feedback
- Excellent communication and ability to present in person
- Customer service, rapport building
- Food service and C-Store industry knowledge
- Decision making abilities
- This position reports to regional Vice President
- RSM position requires 50-75% regional/driving travel within assigned territory
- 1-3 out of state/market trips annually requiring airline travel
- 3-5 years of experiences sales, preferably food service
- Must reside within the assigned territory
