Inside Sales, Sales Associate/Assistant
Position Overview

- Manage inbound sales inquiries as well as outbound leads, offering information about our solutions and services to prospective customers and guiding them through the sales process.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects and partners to ensure high levels of satisfaction and results.
- Utilize CRM to track activities, update customer information, and report back on sales metrics.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to optimize the sales process and achieve collective goals.
- Maintain awareness of and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Uphold the company impact values.
- 0‑3 years of experience in provider enrollment, credentialing, or a related healthcare role.
- Proven experience in sales with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong discovery, negotiation and objection‑handling skills over the phone.
- Well‑built organizational skills as well as resourcefulness and consistency.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, competitive environment.
- Industry healthcare and/or provider office workflow knowledge (preferred but not required).
- Coachability and willingness to learn.
- Highly motivated individual.
- Basic computer skills, including operations in multiple tabs and systems, Teams, Outlook, and basic Windows operating systems (Word, Excel).
Zelis is headquartered in the U.S., with multiple locations across the country and in Hyderabad, India. All employee work locations are based on the needs of the position and are determined by the leadership team. While location expectations vary by role, candidates within approximately 50 miles of a U.S. office are generally preferred to support collaboration when needed. Our hybrid approach is flexible, and in‑office presence is guided by team and business needs rather than a fixed weekly schedule.
