As the organization continues to expand its global presence and invest in strategic growth initiatives, it is seeking a Vice President of Global Sales to lead its worldwide commercial organization.

Position Summary

The Vice President of Global Sales is responsible for developing and executing the company's worldwide commercial strategy to accelerate profitable growth, strengthen strategic customer relationships, and expand market share across key industrial sectors.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will lead global sales, business development, key account management, and commercial strategy while partnering closely with Operations, Engineering, Product Development, and Supply Chain to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The successful candidate is an accomplished commercial leader with experience selling highly engineered products into complex industrial markets. They possess strong strategic thinking, executive presence, and the ability to lead geographically dispersed teams while building trusted relationships with global OEMs and industrial customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a global sales strategy aligned with the company's long-term growth objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities, emerging industries, and strategic customer segments.
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth while improving profitability and market position.
  • Develop pricing strategies that maximize value while maintaining competitiveness.
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing global sales organization across North America, Europe, and Asia.
  • Establish clear sales objectives, performance metrics, forecasting processes, and accountability.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop commercial leaders capable of supporting continued global expansion.
  • Foster a culture focused on customer success, collaboration, and disciplined execution.
Strategic Customer Management
  • Build executive‑level relationships with global industrial customers and key decision makers.
  • Personally manage selected strategic accounts and complex commercial negotiations.
  • Develop long‑term partnership strategies that increase customer loyalty and lifetime value.
  • Represent the company at executive customer meetings, industry conferences, and global events.
Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across existing and adjacent markets.
  • Collaborate with Product Development and Engineering to align innovation with customer needs.
  • Evaluate strategic partnerships, distribution channels, and market expansion opportunities.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and integration efforts when applicable.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
  • Partner closely with Operations to ensure commercial commitments align with manufacturing capabilities.
  • Work with Engineering to develop customer‑specific solutions and accelerate new product introductions.
  • Collaborate with Finance to improve forecasting accuracy, pricing discipline, and profitability.
  • Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to corporate strategy and business planning.
  • Implement best‑in‑class sales processes, CRM discipline, pipeline management, and forecasting.
  • Utilize market intelligence and customer insights to guide strategic decisions.
  • Improve commercial effectiveness through coaching, performance management, and data‑driven decision making.
  • Drive consistent execution across all global regions.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience within industrial manufacturing.
  • Proven success leading global sales organizations serving industrial OEMs and technical manufacturing customers.
  • Experience selling highly engineered products, advanced materials, industrial components, or complex technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated success developing strategic customer relationships at the executive level.
  • Experience managing multi‑million‑dollar revenue portfolios and global sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of international business, channel management, and contract negotiations.
Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in one or more of the following industries are highly desirable:
