Job Description
The Territory Business Representative (T ) is responsible for the achievement of commercial objectives in the assigned territory in alignment with Xeris’ corporate goals. Reporting to the Regional Business Director (RBD), the T will develop, evolve, and execute strategic and tactical territory and account‑level business plans to meet and exceed sales goals.
Essential Job Functions- Deliver on corporate objectives specific to the territory.
- With RBD and internal partners, develop, evolve, and execute territory and account‑level business plans.
- Engage RBD with timely recommendations to eliminate or minimize barriers to progress, addressing marketplace trends, business opportunities, threats, and competitive information.
- Leverage internal expertise to maximize field impact.
- Work with Regional Business Directors, Channel/Trade & Market Access Teams, TBMs, and other TBRs to develop territory‑specific strategies that ensure patient access to Xeris products.
- Manage territory budget and resource allocations to maximize return on investment.
- Create an internal and external customer‑facing presence that demonstrates Xeris’ commitment to value and solutions for patients.
- Collaborate with peers, marketing, and training personnel to share information and implement territory initiatives and strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships and communications with physicians, other health‑care providers, and stakeholders relevant to Xeris’ business.
- Professionally and ethically represent Xeris to external customers (hospitals, IDNs, physicians, health‑care providers, diabetes chapters) and foster respect by demonstrating commitment to advancing patient care.
- Represent Xeris internally with professionalism and foster professionalism within the region.
- Take responsibility for ongoing professional development to maximize effectiveness.
- Leverage internal training and development.
- Refine ability to navigate complex, multi‑layered accounts.
- Improve communication and engagement with customers using Xeris internal resources.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences, Business/Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in field commercial roles, such as sales representative, hospital representative, sales trainer, marketing, or regional account manager.
- Recent experience in bioscience and/or diabetes highly desirable.
- Proficient in understanding key data and metrics and using this information to improve business performance.
- Thrives in ambiguity and uncertainty; adapts quickly and asks questions to deepen understanding.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

- Position may require periodic evening and weekend work.
- Travel may be up to 20% of the time; vehicle travel required.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000–$140,000.
The level of the position will be determined based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. Employees are eligible for equity or long‑term incentive awards, where applicable. Field sales employees may earn a quarterly commission; non‑sales employees may earn an annual bonus.
