About the Role

We are seeking an entrepreneurial individual to become a Shelter Insurance Agent in Springfield, MO. The role focuses on building a client base, selling Shelter Insurance products, and developing a sustainable agency.

• Develop new contacts and network within the community.
• Sell Shelter Insurance products through direct client interactions.
• Meet established sales targets and maintain core business proficiencies.
• Potential to recruit staff for administrative support and sales expansion.
• Participate in in‑house and virtual training programs and ongoing industry education.

• Strong desire to meet new people, serve the community, and drive business growth.
• Motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with effective communication skills in a sales environment.
• Prior sales experience or a degree with general business coursework is helpful but not required.
• No previous insurance experience, capital, or assets required for consideration.
