Pay Rate: $21.50/hr
Applicants will be required to have- A Valid N.J. Permit To Carry A Handgun
- Previous Law Enforcement or Military experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid New Jersey Drivers License
- Knowledge and/or experience with monitoring and control of adolescents
- Must be physically fit, mobile and flexible with the ability to run, jog and climb stairs
- Ability to restrain students and quickly respond to an emergency situation
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time in performance of job functions
- Ability to conduct extensive motorized patrols of district schools and related properties and sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in the elements
- Ability to read and write English
- Understanding attitude while working with students and staff
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
