Overview
As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrols in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $16.21 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Day Time Monday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Tuesday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Thursday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Saturday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sunday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observed conditions and/or unusual activity.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
- Monitor access points, check credentials where required, and report unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, and/or maintenance concerns to site contacts.
- Support day‑to‑day site operations by communicating clearly with personnel and visitors, following post orders, and reporting incidents in a timely manner.
- A valid driver's license is required, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
