Provide fire, safety, and security protection for Mercy's coworkers, patients, and visitors. Promote and practice fire and safety prevention. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Position Details MinimumRequired Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma
- 18 years of age or older
Licensure:
- Valid State driver's license
- Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required (within 90 days of hire)
Certification/Registration:
- Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety/Security course within 180 days of hire (May be done as part of licensure) Federal, State, and Municipal licensure allowable time frames will have precedence over internally established time frames for IAHSS certification.
Other Skills And Knowledge:
- Ability to read and write the English language
Education:
- College degree
Licensure:
- Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required.
Experience:
- Previous Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience
