Apply today to find out how you can become a part of our team. This position will be based in one of our Springfield facilities. Responsibilities Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, components, and related equipment according to safety codes. Analyze and repair motor and control systems commonly utilized in industrial and commercial settings. Execute preventive maintenance activities on electrical wiring and systems.
Comprehend electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals. Exercise problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to solve problems. Install, program, and repair VFDs, soft starts, transformers, and motors, and panel boards. Stretch and run wire, conduit, and other materials of varying sizes. Connect motors and transformers. This position is safety sensitive. Cross-Role Expectations Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment Strong troubleshooting skills with a bias toward permanent fixes Willingness to work within a dispatcher-driven, priority-based maintenance system Comfortable with work orders, documentation, and shift handoffs Safety-first mindset (LOTO, hot work, confined space as applicable) Team-oriented approach working with Operations, Engineering, and Reliability Requirements 5-10+ years industrial electrical experience Strong troubleshooting of 480V / 240V / 120V systems Motors, starters, contractors, overloads VFD setup, fault diagnostics, and parameter checks Sensors, photo eyes, encoders, thermocouples Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) proficiency NFPA 70E awareness and safe electrical work practices Preferred
Skills:
PLC exposure (Allen-Bradley preferred) I/O troubleshooting and basic ladder logic understanding
Experience with legacy equipment and undocumented systems Controls support for calenders, cutters, presses, and material handling equipment Ability to troubleshoot intermittent faults under production pressure Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401(k) Life Insurance PTO
