Field/Service Technician, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic
Overview
We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Springfield, MO.
Responsibilities- Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
- Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
- Locally valid driving permit is required
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Minimal level of work shop experience required
- Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
- Understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
- Experience with engine diagnostic software
- Strong chassis experience (expanded services)
The Role
- Working hours are 8am to 5pm Monday-Friday
- Cummins offers a 5k sign on bonus for this role.
