Service Technician

Position Title: Service Technician

Wage: $20-$25/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7am-5pm + Some overnight travel

• Diagnose and repair commercial laundry equipment, including electric and gas dryers
• Perform electrical troubleshooting to identify power loss, wiring issues, and component failures
• Read and interpret wiring schematics and use a voltage meter confidently
• Complete minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-related repairs as needed
• Work in tight or confined spaces when required (crawl spaces, behind units, etc.)
• Perform occasional ladder work and vent cleaning (including debris or bird nest removal)
• Communicate clearly with customers about repair findings, scope of work, and additional recommendations
• Maintain a professional, customer-service-oriented demeanor on job sites
• Travel:
  Service territory includes MO, OK, AR, and KS; most travel is same-day, occasional overnight travel may be required (rare); primarily work with a crew, with some independent service calls

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, or related field preferred
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use diagnostic tools (multimeter/voltage meter)
• Comfortable working in small spaces and at heights
• Valid driver's license
• Initial training period riding with an experienced technician; after training, company truck provided
