• Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
• Complete repairs in a variety of weather conditions and locations
• Use diagnostic tools and technical schematics to troubleshoot complex issues
• Document services accurately and ensure timely completion of work orders
• Order necessary parts with precision and accuracy
• Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with customers, co‑workers, and managers
• Meet time requirement guidelines and maintain efficiency levels
• Escalate unresolved issues to technical communicators for further research and assistance
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Maintain and care for all tools and service truck
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to read complex hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Basic computer skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Self‑motivated with a can‑do attitude
• Detail oriented
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Must provide own hand tools required to perform work efficiently
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
• Have a current DOT medical card or have the ability to obtain one
• Must be 21 years of age

• Must be able to carry, push, and lift up to 60lbs
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, grip, and grab as needed
• Must be able to ascend and descend large machinery
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Able to be around dust, grease, and other elements commonly found on construction and industrial worksites
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, dust, and dirt)
• Travel as assigned for training or to perform work at other locations, with possible overnight stays when required

• High school diploma or GED
• 4 or more years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or experience with similar diesel equipment;
  Komatsu and/or Takeuchi experience is a plus
• Experience driving a Class 4 or higher vehicle
