Millwright Foreman
Provides leadership, instruction, and guidance to other craft workers in the work crew, supporting the General Foreman. Responsible for installing, aligning, and maintaining machinery and equipment as per layout plans and blueprints. Must pass pre‑employment physical and background check.

Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, layout plans, vendor installation and operation manuals, and other schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Dismantle machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other hand tools.
- Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers and trucks.
- Assemble and install equipment such as shaffing, conveyors and tram rails using cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
- Construct foundations for machines using hand tools and building materials such as wood, cement and steel.
- Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers and plumb bobs.
- Apply knowledge of optical and laser alignments.
- Assemble machines, bolt, weld, rivet or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures using hand tools and power tools.
- Operate engine lathe to grind, file and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications.
- Install robots and modify their programs using teach pendants.
- Use transit and level for equipment setting.
- Load, transport and unload materials, tools, equipment and supplies.
- Perform lubricating maintenance, cleaning activities, or repair of tools, machines and equipment.
- Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
- Apply shop mathematics to solve problems.
- Use logical step‑by‑step procedures.
- Plan work and select proper tools.
- Compare and identify differences in size, shape and form of lines, figures and objects.
- Visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings.
- Make decisions based on measurable criteria.
- Perform a variety of duties that may change often.
- Operate machinery.
- Work at heights without fear.
May require a high school diploma or equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or a related area. Requires knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field. Follows instructions and pre‑established guidelines. Works under immediate supervision.
Physical Requirements- Strength – Standing 50%, Walking 10%, Sitting 40%.
- Lifting 35 lb., Carrying 35 lb., Pushing 0 ft‑lb., Pulling 0 ft‑lb.
- Climbing Occasionally (0–33 %). Balancing Occasionally (0–33 %).
- Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Handling, Fingering Constantly (67–100 %).
