Automatic Door Technician

Overview

The DH Pace Company is a family-owned, privately held business with annual sales over $1 billion and 60+ offices across the continental United States. The company leads in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking, and security products. The Overhead Door Company of Springfield, a DH Pace Company, Inc. location, is seeking an Automatic Pedestrian Door (APD) Technician.

We are looking for APD Technicians or individuals with Electromechanical Technician experience. Must be able to safely lift 100 lbs overhead. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Training is available."

• Install and/or repair a wide range of commercial door and door hardware, including: dock doors (roll-up), dock equipment, high-speed rolling doors, commercial entry doors, and automatic pedestrian doors.
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
• Operate in a safety-conscious manner at all times while performing job duties.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to safely lift 100 pounds.
• Welding experience preferred but not required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
• Experienced Automatic Pedestrian Door (APD) Technicians or individuals with Electromechanical Technician experience.
