Position: Internal Only - Maintenance Supervisor - Public Works
Description

* This position is available ONLY for current employees of the City of Springfield
* The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible in overseeing the maintenance and improvements to Springfield's existing street infrastructure. The maintenance of our streets involves asphalt repair, concrete construction and repair, chip-seals, and a variety of other work. This position will supervise one specific team in the Public Works Street Operations Division.

We are currently looking to hire a supervisor for our Utility Cuts crew.

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience, Education, and Training

* A minimum of four years of responsible experience in street maintenance or sewer operations, or equivalent, in the maintenance and repair of public infrastructure;

AND

* One year in a crew leader or supervisory capacity.

Licensing/Certification

* Must possess a valid Driver's License.
