** Jonesburg/Troy/ Local to MO

* Hours:

** Monday-Friday 10 hour days

Job Duties:

*** Locate for HDD / directional drilling crews
* Track and guide the drill head during bore operations
* Communicate clearly with the drill operator to maintain accurate bore path
* Read and follow utility maps, prints, blueprints, and job layouts
* Identify bore path, depth, pitch, and existing underground utilities
* Support installation of fiber, telecom, gas, water, and sewer systems
* Assist with bore setup, potholing, hand digging, and jobsite preparation
* Locate and protect existing underground utilities
* Help prevent utility strikes through safe locating and communication
* Work around excavators, drills, trenchers, skid steers, and other construction equipment
* Perform daily checks on locating equipment and report any issues
* Support crew members with general underground utility work as needed
** Ideal Candidate:
*** 1+ year experience locating for HDD / directional drilling crews
* Underground utility, fiber, telecom, gas, water, or sewer experience strongly preferred
* Experience using locating equipment such as Digi Trak, Subsite, or similar systems preferred
* Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record preferred
* Ability to read utility maps, blueprints, and job layouts
* Strong communication skills with drill operators and crew members
* Strong safety awareness and damage prevention mindset
* Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
* Able to pass drug screen and background check
