HVACR Service Technician

Essential Duties

* Troubleshoot and repair HVACR equipment.

* Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and industrial customers.

* Maintain and repair refrigeration units.

* Discuss heating or cooling system malfunctions with users to isolate problems or to verify that repairs corrected malfunctions.

* Diagnose refrigeration malfunctions.

Education & Training

* High school diploma or equivalent, required

* Universal certification, required

* Working knowledge of the following:

* AC/DC electrical refrigeration/HVAC equipment components

* Large refrigeration equipment

* Rack systems and associated condensers and evaporator configurations

* Cold storage buildings

* Walk-ins

* Small refrigeration equipment

* Ice machines

* Reach-ins

* Commercial refrigerators

* Primary heating & cooling HVAC equipment

* Boilers

* Chillers

* Heat exchangers

* Towers

* Equipment troubleshooting, maintenance tasking, and installation requirements

* Secondary heating & cooling HVAC equipment

* AHU's pumps

* Fan coils

* Water source heat pumps

* Equipment troubleshooting, maintenance tasking, and installation requirements
