Day Shift (7:30AM–4:00PM).

The Maintenance MechanicIII maintains HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems. Performs preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance on facilities, buildings, and equipment. Installs and replaces equipment and structures as required and may work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.

• Perform preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Install, replace, and repair equipment such as air handlers, compressors, refrigeration units, medical gas systems, and other building systems.
• Respond to work requests promptly and complete assignments professionally.
• Work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required and approved by the supervisor.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; trade school in mechanical fields preferred.
• 3–5years of experience in maintenance or mechanical work.
• Proficient communication and prioritization skills.
• Technical troubleshooting skills for equipment malfunctions.
• Knowledge of safe operation of tools and regulatory requirements for fire alarm, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life‑safety systems, and building repairs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Active driver’s license required.
• STI Fire Stop certification required within 1year of hire (Cox Health provides certification).
• Preferred: MEP certification from an accredited trade school (e.g., Vatterott College, Ozarks Technical Community College).
• Preferred:
  Refrigeration or Welding certification.
• Preferred:
  Forklift operation.
