- Install, assemble, and service commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, including copper line sets.
- Assist in building and installing equipment used in HVAC/R applications.
- Identify potential maintenance issues, risks, and safety concerns.
- Work collaboratively with team members and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Install flex duct and sheet metal duct systems in light commercial settings.
- Install HVAC equipment in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Apply knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
- Safely operate hand and power tools relevant to the trade.
- Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are properly maintained and in safe working condition.
- Communicate effectively with customers before, during, and after service work.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations.
- Adhere to all job site safety requirements and customer guidelines.
- This is a safety‑sensitive position.
- Working knowledge of HVAC/R systems, tools, materials, and components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed for projects.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or maneuver heavy materials (with assistance or equipment as needed).
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
- Solid understanding of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating principles.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow established procedures.
- Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven work environment.
- Capable of working independently while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Valid Class E driver’s license preferred.
- OSHA certification preferred; required within 60 days of employment.
$18 - $30 hourly, DOE.
