Construction Technician
The Construction Technician plays an essential role in the successful execution of SERVPRO construction and reconstruction projects. Working under the direction of the Superintendent and/or Project Manager, this position is responsible for performing hands-on construction tasks that support project completion, quality, and customer satisfaction. Depending on skill level and experience, responsibilities may include basic framing and finish carpentry, drywall installation, repair/patch or finish, painting, flooring installation, job site organization, debris removal, and material handling.
The Construction Technician ensures that all work performed meets SERPRO's standards of quality, professionalism, and safety, particularly given the company's focus on insurance restoration and remodeling projects. Professional appearance, craftsmanship, and customer service are critical to maintaining Servpro's reputation and fostering repeat business.

High school diploma or GED required. Proven customer service and communication skills (verbal and written). Basic math and measurement skills required. Prior experience in construction, remodeling, or restoration preferred. Working knowledge of common construction tools, materials, and methods. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
Physical andWork Environment Requirements
Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs). Frequent use of ladders, scaffolding, and hand/power tools. Exposure to variable weather conditions and loud environments. Daily operation of company vehicle between job sites and suppliers. Must be able to perform tasks safely in active construction environments.
Work Schedule and Travel RequirementsFull-time, Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40 hours/week). Occasional overtime, evening, or weekend work may be required based on project needs. Local travel is required; occasional out-of-town or overnight travel may occur.
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
