Fire Safety Field Engineer (Technician) – Springfield, MO

Springfield, MO; and Wichita, KS.
We offer extensive design, consultation, programming and installation, commissioning and service expertise for Access Control, VMS, HVAC Controls, Fire Safety Systems, Wireless Networks, Network Services, Emergency Power Generators, and Access Flooring.
We are hiring a Fire Safety Field Engineer (Technician) for our Springfield office. This role is responsible for programming and troubleshooting fire alarm systems and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Install product and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring quality completion.
- Use hand tools for mounting, assembling, testing, and programming systems.
- Read and understand project plan drawings.
- Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
- Document work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
- Provide technical support to customers.
- Work overtime or weekends as required.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigation, including criminal and motor vehicle check.
