This skilled role covers a variety of trades, from custodial to building and grounds maintenance.
MAKE AN IMPACT BY- Tackling a wide range of building maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, masonry, roofing, welding, and concrete work.
- Keeping equipment and systems running smoothly with preventive maintenance and minor repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mowers, and pumps.
- Taking pride in facility upkeep through light repairs, cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining flooring and public/office spaces.
- Enhancing outdoor spaces with landscaping, mowing, irrigation maintenance, and seasonal snow removal.
Typically, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.;
Hours/days may change as needed for the department.
- A High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- At least three (3) years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and/or performing skilled building.
- Possession or the ability to obtain OSHA 30 certification within 12 months of hire date.
- Possession or the ability to obtain certification in Bucket Truck, Crane Truck, and Forklift Training within 12 months of hire date.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to be insured under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as part of the position.
- Be willing to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- The ability to pass a background investigation, drug and alcohol screenings, and physical agility screening.
- Technical or vocational training in a relevant field.
- Certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or other relevant trades.
- Knowledge of building automation systems.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems.
