Field Service Technician – Trainee based out of Springfield, MO. We are looking for a mechanically talented person who can join our Springfield service team through a structured training program that sets you up for long‑term success.

Our trainees are paired with an experienced senior technician for every call during the first six months. During this period you ride along, learn hands‑on skills, and gain confidence before taking on an independent van and territory.

• Structured ride‑along training for the first several months
• Primarily Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or on‑call rotations
• Year‑round indoor work in dental offices
• Competitive pay during training with a clear path to full technician rates of $20–$35 per hour

As a Field Service Technician Trainee based out of our Springfield office, you will ride alongside a senior technician across southern Missouri and northern Arkansas. Your responsibilities include installing, repairing, and maintaining dental equipment, learning diagnostic skills, and occasionally providing on‑site support for our remote IT team.

• Training period: riding with a senior technician; schedule follows theirs
• Typical day: out on territory, home in the evening; days may vary by distance
• Territory spans southern Missouri and northern Arkansas, largely two‑lane highways
• Occasional overnight trips; all expenses covered
• Overtime is rare; schedule is designed to keep weekly hours close to 40

• Ride alongside a senior technician on every call during training
• Assist with on‑site installation, repair, and maintenance of dental equipment
• Build diagnostic skills with a mentor
• Assist customers with equipment use and care training
• Serve as on‑site support for remote IT technicians when needed
• Complete work orders and job documentation accurately
• Attend manufacturer and company training to deepen expertise
• Transition to independent territory and company van upon full competency

• Agricultural, poultry, or livestock equipment service and repair
• Food processing or agricultural facility maintenance
• HVAC, plumbing, or electrical trades
• Biomedical or medical equipment repair
• Resort, hospitality, or attractions maintenance (including Branson area)
• Manufacturing maintenance or industrial equipment
• Field IT support, AV installation, or electronics repair
• General field service or equipment repair of any kind

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of mechanical, trade, or technical experience
• Comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems
• Strong communication and customer service skills
